New cable tacker for UK mains lighting cables

Tools and test instruments manufacturer, the Kew Technik Group of Companies, has recently agreed to distribute exclusively throughout the UK a unique cable fixing tool manufactured by one of Sweden's leading manufacturers, Rapid.

The Rapid U:TAC System has been developed for the UK and similar markets when cable tacks are required to fix 1.5mm Twin & Earth cable. This sophisticated stapler can be loaded with 75 staples in its magazine allowing the installer to quickly and easily attach the cable using one hand.

Manufactured from a specially formulated non-conductive composite material, U:TAC staples are provided in boxes of 450, are strong, contain no metal and are safe to use with domestic mains electrical cable.

Using traditional cable clips is slow, tedious and sometimes painful! Recent field trials by electricians in the UK have shown that using U:TAC improves installation time by at least 30% over conventional methods. The tool is extremely easy to use one-handed and has proved so popular that the trialists were reluctant to return them.
